Sarah J. Morath is a Professor of Law and Associate Dean for International Affairs at Wake Forest University School of Law. Her research interests include all things related to sustainability, food, and the environment, and she is an affiliate and board member of Wake Forest’s Center for Energy, Environment, and Sustainability.
Through her writing, Sarah strives to bridge the divide between science and policy. She publishes in public-facing outlets such as The Hill, Grist, The Conversation, and Bloomberg Law, as well as academic journals, and is the author of the award-winning Our Plastic Problem and How to Solve It (Cambridge University Press 2022).
An expert on plastic pollution, Sarah has been interviewed by the Christian Science Monitor, FoodPrint, The American Bar Association, and Imagine Learning.
Sarah lives in Winston-Salem with her husband and their two daughters.
